Getting Started with Paddle Billing Workflow

Follow this 5-step walkthrough to connect your Paddle account, enable automated billing actions, and configure real-time triggers within your CRM automations.

Step 01
Generate Your Paddle API Key
Paddle Dashboard

In your Paddle Dashboard, navigate to Developer Tools > Authentication and generate a new API key. Ensure the 'notification_setting.write' permission is selected so webhooks can be registered automatically.

Tip: Supports Sandbox (pdl_sbox_...) and Live (pdl_live_...) keys.
Step 02
Connect Your Credentials
Automatic Handshake

Open the Connection Center to submit your API key. Our system securely validates your key against Paddle and instantly provisions a dedicated, cryptographically signed webhook endpoint for your location.

Step 03
Add Paddle Workflow Actions
5 Pre-built Actions

Within your platform's Workflow Builder, create a new action and select Paddle Billing Workflow. You can create customers, generate secure checkout links, or adjust subscriptions automatically using contact data.
